We are a group of Christian teenagers from around Sydney that love to get together, hang out and have fun, but the most important thing is that we love our God by knowing him through his word. We called ourselves Roots which is based on Colossians 2:7 - "rooted and built up in [Christ] and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving." While we are of Indonesian background, we are welcome all teenagers from different background as well.

Our fellowship meets every Sunday at 10AM. We typically start our fellowship with prayer follow by worship and praise and then we read our bible and do a discussion around a topic. In addition to this as God show his love toward us, we want to show our love for each other as well by praying, supporting, sharing, helping and encouraging one another. Our aim is to have our life centered in Christ by rooted in his word. 

While being part a teens group is awesome, we also realize that our group is just a part of God's big picture. Our ministry is an integral part of GKY Sydney congregation in disciples making disciples. The big picture in our ministry is to be "part of God's family in making the disciples of Jesus."
